On December 19, CONCACAF announced that there will be 13 cities that will be hosting the 2017 Gold Cup in the month of July. The time period in which the matches of the CONCACAF will be played is July 7-26. The officials of the CONCACAF also revealed the sites and dates of group stage matches for the US and Mexico national teams.

Mexico and USMNT will be seeded in the next summer’s tournament and will be headlining the Groups, namely Group B and C respectively. On July 8, at Nissan Stadium, the US will make its foray in the tournament. The team of US will play its second group game at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on July 12 and on July 15 it will conclude the Group B action at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland. Talking about another important team Mexico, the team of Mexico will be playing on July 9 at Qualcomm Stadium Diego. The team will be playing its second match on July 13 at Sports Authority Field in Denver and on July 16 it will be playing at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

It is important to know that the MLS venues will be hosting to all three rounds of Group A matches. On July 7 THE Red Bull Arena will be hosting the opening matches of the tournament in Group A. On July 11, the Houston Dynamo’s BBVA Compass Stadium will be hosting the second round of Group A contests, whereas on July 14 the home of FC Dallas will be holding the Group A finale. Importantly, the Group A will be filled out and a seeded team will be named pending the competition of the tournament held in January.

CONCACAF Gold Cup 2017 Venues - Altogether, 14 venues will be hosting the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup matches. The tournament will be featuring four first-time hosts, namely the Alamodome, FirstEnergy Stadium, Nissan Stadium and Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
As per the confirmation made by the officials of CONCACAF, it was announced that AT&T Stadium, Levi’s Stadium, Lincoln Financial Field, the Rose Bowl and University of Phoenix Stadium will be hosting the knock-out round matches.
